Peyton List and her twin brother Spencer do their best Mario & Princess impression during their Sweet 16 over the weekend.
The “Jessie” star and her bro celebrated their milestone birthday with an awesome Nintendo themed party at Skateland in Northridge, CA. Guests got to have a blast skating and the venue was transformed into Peyton & Spencer’s very own Nintendo Land with gaming stations atop warp pipes, a Mario themed photo booth and other character elements spread throughout the venue.
Guests took a break from skating and stopped by the warp pipe gaming stations to get their hands on Nintendo 2DS and Nintendo 3DS, playing classic titles like Luigi’s Mansion, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario 3D Land amongst others. Individuals and groups also dressed up as their favorite Mario character and danced around in the photo booth where their pictures were converted into flipbooks becoming the perfect party favor!
The excitement continued as attendees competed in an intense Mario Kart 7 battle fighting for the top three spots. Dylan Riley Snider (“Kickin’ It”) took home the Gold along with a Yoshi themed gift basket as his prize, while Jackson Pace (“Homeland”) came in close second winning a Mario themed gift bag, and Spencer List taking the bronze medal winning a Princess Peach gift bag.
In addition to the interactive activities, attendees enjoyed food from famed sushi restaurant Katsuya and Japanese themed candy and drinks that added nicely to the Nintendo theme! The party wrapped up with everyone singing “Happy Birthday” to Peyton and Spencer who were presented with a custom Nintendo birthday cake and Mushroom cupcakes by Cold Stone.
Celebrity guests included Austin North, Olivia Holt, Katherine McNamara, Blake Michael, Cameron Boyce, Dylan Riley Snyder, Jake Short, Joey King, Karan Brar, Skai Jackson, and many more.
Happy birthday Peyton & Spencer!
