R5 stepped out to support A Place Called Home at their 8th annual Stars & Strikes event at Pinz on Wednesday.
A Place Called Home (www.apch.org) is a safe haven in South Central Los Angeles where underserved youth are empowered to take ownership of the quality and direction of their lives through programs in education, arts, and well-being and are inspired to make a meaningful difference in their community and the world. Core programs support APCH members from 8-21 years old in avoiding destructive behaviors by developing life skills and motivation to overcome adversity, make healthy, productive choices, and take advantage of the opportunities that lie before them.
We had the chance to chat with R5 on the red carpet where they told us that they are hard at work on their second album. We also challenged them to a fun game of word association. Oh, and did we mention they gave us their best selfie face? Watch out Ellen!
