Looks like Taylor Swift & Lorde’s friendship is going strong!
The two singer/songwriters enjoyed a weekend together in LA which included a trip to the beach and of course, some shopping! Taylor posted a cute photo of the two on the beach with the caption, “Bare feet in the sand on a Saturday.”
So, now that these two are besties, can we expect a collaboration soon? Lorde recently told Capital FM, “Yeah we are [different], but I think the cool thing about Taylor is she is pretty willing to go a lot of places with music.”
She added, “I think that last record [Red] in particular, everyone was like ‘Woah’, a lot of ground has been covered. And I think with an artist like her, the sky is the limit.”
So we think that means these two would definitely mesh well together musically. Fingers crossed! Tyalor has been busy in the studio working on her new album and someone she has been writing with is none other than hitmaker Ryan Tedder. He revealed, “I did a little stuff with Taylor [Swift], who is probably the fastest songwriter I’ve ever met in my life.”
He continued, “Taylor is genuinely the quickest songwriter. For anyone who doubts it, she writes her own stuff…. Any idea, you’re like, ‘Yeah, I don’t know if I like that lyric,’ she has three options to replace it within 10 seconds. She is like bam bam bam. She’s a bit of a prodigy, a bit of a songwriting prodigy.”
