One Direction returned to “Saturday Night Live” for the second time this weekend.
The UK band celebrated their #1 album, Midnight Memories, by performing “Story of My Life” and “Through the Dark” on the sketch comedy show. While the guys didn’t put on any wigs and crazy costumes this time around, they did pop up in Paul Rudd’s opening monologue.
In Paul’s monologue, he brought out both One Direction and Will Ferrell, David Koechner & Steve Carrell and they all teamed up to perform “Afternoon Delight” as “Nine Direction.” 1D also popped up in a digital short featuring Paul as Dan Charles, the band’s #1 fan.
After the show, Niall took to twitter and Instagram to share some fun selfies.
