Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry & One Direction all took the stage at the 2013 American Music Awards but the one performance everyone was waiting for was Miley Cyrus.
Miley has been known to do some shocking performances at awards shows lately and everyone was curious how she would close out the AMAs. First up, the new 21-year-old walked the carpet in a sexy Versace white pant suit accompanied by her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. Miley traded the outfit for a gray bikini-ish outfit complete with cats on it for her performance of “Wrecking Ball.”
The intergalactic performance was accompanied by an adorable kitten on a giant screen who lip sang along with the song and even did the “Miley face” at the end of the performance. How cute was the kitten? Miley sounded flawless but the kitten, while it was cute, did distract from her performance a little. It even cried at one point.
