Sasha Pieterse and Molly Tarlov looked beautiful as they joined their G. B. F. co-stars for a big premiere and after party in Hollywood on Tuesday.
Joining the duo at the big event were co-stars and friends Joanna ‘JoJo’ Levesque, Megan Mullally, Michael J. Willett, Xosha Roquemore, Andrea Bowen, Jonathan Silverman, Horatio Sanz, Ann Russo, Derek Mio and Dan Godlin; Director Darren Stein; Writer George Northy; Producers Richard Bever and Stephen Israel; and Special Guests: Greg Araki (Filmmaker), Kate Flannery (The Office), Desiree Hall (Best Night Ever), Allison Paige (Days of Our Lives), Arden Myrin (MADtv).
After watching the film, the group celebrated with an After Party at hotspot Beacher’s Madhouse, inside The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, sponsored by Yacht Club Vodka. The night included a special performance by cast member Joanna ‘JoJo’ Levesque amongst the venue’s other special performances hosted by Jeff Beacher.
In G.B.F., social warfare erupts when three high school clique queens battle for supremacy: drama diva Caprice (Xosha Roquemore), Mormon princess ‘Shley (Andrea Bowen) and blonde fashionista Fawcett (Sasha Pieterse). When unassuming Tanner (Michael J. Willet) is outted, he finds himself cast as the hottest new teen-girl accessory: The Gay Best Friend. The clique queens immediately pounce and makeover Tanner into their ideal arm candy, forcing him to choose between popularity and the true friends — including his own B.F.F. Brent (Paul Iacono) — that he’s leaving behind.
DirecTV will exclusively premiere the film this Friday November 22nd. It will hit Theaters January 17, 2014.
