We are obsessed with Fifth Harmony’s EP, Better Together, but something else we love about them are their covers.
The girls have built a following on Youtube thanks to their amazing covers of artists like Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. One of our favorite covers by 5H is “Stay” by Rihanna and the girls decided to help Billboard kick off their third season of “Candid Covers” presented by Nikon with an awesome rendition of the song.
The series spotlights emerging artists performing songs from music stars who helped inspire their careers. Normani Kordei chose the song for the group to cover explaining, “When we do our covers… we each find a song that represents each of us. And my selection was “Stay” by Rihanna and I chose it because I absolutely fell in love with it the moment that I heard her perform it live. She captivated me and I couldn’t stop watching.”
The “Candid Covers” video series will feature a different artist each week. In addition to the performances, the videos include interviews with the artists and exclusive behind-the-scenes photos.
