In addition to the Disney Channel Original Movie “Zapped” that she recently filmed, it has just been announced by THR that she will star in the pilot “Super Awesome Katy” for the network.
“Super Awesome Katy” centers on 16-year-old Katy Cooper (Zendaya), an outspoken and confident technology wiz and skilled black belt, who discovers that both her parents are spies who expect her to follow in their footsteps. Production on the pilot begins in early 2014.
Zendaya tweeted about the news, “If it gets picked up, I promise to give you the dopest Disney show.”
