Victoria Justice might be heading back to your TV screens soon!
The former “Victorious” star has landed the lead role in the new MTV pilot “Eye Candy” according to Variety. “Eye Candy” is based on the novel of the same name by R.L. Stine…yes the genius behind the “Goosebumps” series.
Victoria will play Lindy, a beautiful but reclusive hacker whose blog exposes everything from terrorist plots to suspected killers. Convinced by her roommate to begin online dating, Lindy is targeted by a dangerous cyberstalker and believes one of her suitors to be the culprit. When things take a deadly turn, she teams up with the city’s cyber-crime unit to catch the killer.
“Victoria Justice is exactly someone we want to be in business with,” said MTV programming topper Susanne Daniels. “Not only does she resonate with our audience, she has a huge fanbase and is extremely talented. We are very lucky to have her.”
“Eye Candy” will be written by Emmy Grinwis and Catherine Hardwicke will direct and executive produce the drama.
