Do you ever wish there was a full day on the calendar dedicated to One Direction? Well, while there isn’t an official calendar day, the band have declared their own 1D Day!
In support of their upcoming album MIDNIGHT MEMORIES, One Direction have announced an unprecedented worldwide event, “1D Day”, which will give fans from every corner of the world a unique opportunity to enter into One Direction’s lives through a seven-hour live broadcast with the band. “1D Day” will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on Saturday November 23rd, 2013 with further details to be announced.
“1D Day” is the first live event of its kind, enabling fans from different countries and time-zones the chance to interact with the band throughout the live stream broadcast. With the quality of a high end HD production and the intimacy of a web chat, the event will provide unparalleled access to One Direction’s world, helping the band reach fans in every country. It will feature special guest appearances, sketches with the band, fan-generated videos and live broadcasts from different countries.
The “1D Day” campaign launches today with competitions and fan events around the world which will ensure the fans are as big a part of the broadcast as the special guests and the band themselves.
