You might recognize the 21-year-old British actor from starring opposite Miley Cyrus in LOL or as Pip in the recent UK TV adaptation of “Great Expectations.” Come this October, he will make you swoon as Romeo in Romeo & Juliet.
Douglas stars opposite Hailee Steinfeld in the film which had it’s world premiere last night in Hollywood. We had the chance to chat with Douglas at the premiere about the film and his first meeting with Hailee.
So, Romeo is such an iconic character, how did Douglas feel about taking on the role? “[It was] terrifying at first but then after that you’re just excited by it,” he told us.
