The cast of season 17 of “Dancing with the Stars” has finally announced and it includes more young faces than normal.
The cast is a good mix of older and younger stars, but more youthful ones which will hopefully bring in a new audience. Some stars you might recognize are Corbin Bleu, Amber Riley, and Brant Daugherty, best known for “High School Musical,” “Glee,” and “Pretty Little Liars,” respectively. They will compete with reality stars like Snooki & Jack Osbourne and TV veterans like “Saved by the Bell” alums Elizabeth Berkley and Leah Remini. Oh, did we mention that Bill Nye the Science Guy will also be showing off his dancing skills?

“Dancing with the Stars” returns for Season 17 and shakes things up by transitioning to a one night, two-hour format. The one-night extravaganza will feature competitive dance, dynamic group performances and musical guests, all building to a climactic elimination. Each week viewers can vote for their favorite dancing performance. Beginning with the second episode on Monday, September 23, one couple will be eliminated at the end of the show by combining the judges’ scores from that night with the public votes from the previous week.
