Whenever Taylor Swift brings her tours to the Staples Center in Los Angeles, she pulls out all the stops bringing special guests.
The 23-year-old has had everyone from Justin Bieber to Nicki Minaj to Cher Lloyd join her on the stage where she’s sold out the most shows as a solo artist – 11 to be exact. On Saturday, Taylor played her fourth show of the Red Tour at the venue and saved the best guest for last.
Taylor usually brings out her special guests after “Sparks Fly,” but when her set continued to move along as normal, we started to wonder just what she was up to. Earlier in the day she tweeted, “Our last show in LA is tonight. Can’t wait to see what’s in store,” so we knew she had something up her sleeve.
When Taylor took the stage to introduce the special guest, she revealed that this was her “hairbrush” song growing up. You know, the one you dance to alone in your room while singing into your hairbrush. After the intro, out popped Jennifer Lopez to sing “Jenny From the Block.” Spotted in the audience enjoying the show were Reese Witherspoon, Kris Jenner and Hailee Steinfeld.
