Taylor Swift will be playing four SOLD OUT shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles this week and she got the party started on Monday night in a BIG way.
With the four sold out shows, Taylor has now tied the record for the most sold out shows ever played at the venue with 11! She’s passed Madonna, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake and is tied with Latin pop group Mana. She will be presented a special award this afternoon.
Last night, the show kicked off with openers Casey James and Ed Sheeran. We have to say, if you have the chance to see Ed live, do it! He is amazing. Then Taylor took the stage to play a 2-hour set complete with theatrics, dancing, a ton of costume changes and lots of flying over the audience.
Taylor is known for bringing out special guests in big cities and last night was no different. The 23-year-old decided to bring out not one, but TWO special guests! First, Cher Lloyd joined Taylor for a duet of her hit “Want U Back.” Later in the night, Taylor was joined by Sara Bareilles to perform “Brave.” Watch both performances below.
