It looks like “Good Luck Charlie” won’t be the only Disney Channel show to come to an end this year.
GLC recently wrapped filming on its fourth season, which will be its last. Disney Channel has decided to also end “Shake It Up” after its third season is done airing, THR has confirmed. It is standard for Disney Channel shows to run for three seasons, however some do end up with a fourth season.
So what’s next for Bella Thorne and Zendaya? Bella has filmed a role in Blended opposite Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore and just landed a lead role in the indie Home Invasion. Zendaya will star in the new Disney Channel Original Movie based on the novel Boys Are Dogs. It is set to begin in August, with an airdate yet to be slated.
Don’t worry, though, “Shake It Up” fans, there are still new episodes slated to air throughout the year.
