Fans of “The Lying Game” have been patiently waiting for months and months to find out if the ABC Family drama will return for another season. Unfortunately, today brought bad news.
ABC Family confirmed to THR that they have opted to not bring back the show which starred Alexandra Chando and Blair Redford. This doesn’t come as a huge shock since Blair is now back on “Switched at Birth.”
Alexandra broke the news first on twitter saying, “To our awesome #lyinggame fans, thank you for these two amazing seasons. Unfortunately, Abc Family has decided not to bring us back for a third season. We so wanted to do 10 more for you guys! Thanks for your support and keep up with the cast to see what’s next for us!”
Alice Greczyn added, “It’s official, #LyingGame fans… We’re over. But thank you so much for all your awesome support! Never seen such fan love. Onto the next!”
The future of “Bunheads” has yet to be made. The network held off on reneweing/cancelling these shows until numbers for new shows “The Fosters” and “Twisted” were in. “The Fosters” continues to set series highs with each new episode while “Twisted” is doing ok, benefitting from following “Pretty Little Liars.”
