The cast of “Glee” gathered yesterday for their promo photoshoot for season 5!
Lea Michele tweeted this cute collage of the cast. Season 5 will see many of our favorite gleeks returning, but there will be some faces that have decided to move on.
According to TVLine, Heather Morris, Mark Salling, Amber Riley, and Harry Shum, Jr. will not be returning as series regulars. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise since all of them only appeared in a handful of episodes in season 4. Also, Heather’s character was accepted into MIT and Heather is pregnant in real life, so it makes sense for her to not return.
Also, Dianna Agron & Jayma Mays are not slated to be back, either. They all, however, could still appear in occasional guest spots.
In happier news, Melissa Benoist, Jacob Artist, Becca Tobin, Blake Jenner and Alex Newell have been promoted to series regulars, although we kind of felt like they already were last season…
