Demi Lovato returned to the this year as a mentor for the ACUVUE 1-DAY Contest and now you can find out what happened when she met her winner, Jessie.
Jessie was a shy musician who was looking for a way to break out of her comfort zone and share her talents. She submitted her contest entry and was selected as one of the teen winners, and was flown out to Los Angeles, CA, to meet with her celebrity mentor, Demi Lovato.
“Demi was the mentor I was hoping and praying for,” said Jessie, “and then she came through the door; that just blew my mind that she was going to be my mentor for the day.”
Demi sat with Jessie and discussed what her dreams where in regards to performing live, and what anxieties she had with coming out of her musical shell. Demi’s makeup artist, Jill, and her stylist helped give Jessie a makeover and then Demi’s band helped her rock the stage to Demi’s hit “Heartbreak” in front of her family and celebrity mentor.
