Miley Cyrus dropped her new single, “We Can’t Stop,” earlier this week and it definitely has everyone talking.
Not only is the song a different sound for the 20-year-old, but the lyrics are also a lot racier and more mature. During her whirlwind day of promoting the song on Monday, MTV followed MC around as she traveled.
“Like the song says, we can love who we want. I’m really free about the way I feel and who I am,” she explained. “Of course, I want people to love my music, but it’s like, at the end of the day I make music for me. I make music ’cause I love it and I know, like I said, I put good energy into it. I want to make this song the biggest song in the world.”
The music video for the track will premiere next week. It definitely looks like it will be an interesting video based on the photos that Miley has been tweeting out. We’ve seen her on a bike and hanging out with big stuffed animals.
