“The Selection’s” second attempt on making it into the CW’s lineup has once again fallen short.
The network decided to pass on their second try at turning Keira Cass’ book into a show. The CW did, however, pick up four more shows including ones starring CW favorites Matt Lanter, Malese Jow & Grey Damon.
“The 100,” “Star Crossed” (formerly “Oxygen”), “Reign,” and “The Tomorrow People” will join the network who has also renewed “Nikita” and “The Carrie Diaries.” With the end of “90210” and “Gossip Girl,” the network seems to be sticking with the supernatural/time period-esque shows. If you think about it, “Hart of Dixie” and the “Carried Diaries” are the only shows without some kind of supernatural element, right?
