The party is set to keep going for “Jessie”!
The hit Disney Channel show has just been renewed for a third season! TVLine broke the news today and reports that the new season “will continue to spotlight the impressive comedic talents of Debby Ryan,” Adam Bonnett, senior vice president, original programming, Disney Channels Worldwide said in a statement.
“Our viewers deeply connect with this cast of characters, and the upcoming season will focus on the Ross kids beginning to navigate young adulthood while challenging their favorite nanny with new and entertaining situations.”
We definitely can’t wait for a whole new season of “Jessie”! Something else we can’t wait for is Debby Ryan’s new music! The 19-year-old is currently putting together an album and told MTV News, “I have all of these songs I’ve written over the course of some time, especially in the last month. I’m putting together in my home studio. My brother is an amazing producer, one of my best friends is an incredible songwriter and really liked my lyrics, and we worked together and ended up writing about 12 songs now for the record, and I think it’s going to come out the end of the summer, which I’m excited about.”
So where is her inspiration coming from? “If Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, and the Lumineers, and Mumford & Sons, and April Smith and the Great Picture Show, and the Hush Sound, and Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry and Tom Petty all had a baby in a carnival in the Old West, that’s what the record will sound like.”
