Debby just returned from a press trip in NYC but before that, she did some rounds of press with her bff Nick Santino from A Rocket to the Moon.
The duo stopped by Access Hollywood to talk all things music. “I guess I do,” Debby said when asked if she has an album in the works. “I’ve always written…I feel like it’s something that’s so organic and real to me. Being on the Disney Channel I’ve kind of felt this need to fight the stigma of like I’m not going to be wearing a sparkling tutu and singing pop songs. Because of that I kind of denied music for a little bit…I realized it’s a complete forgery, a complete lie if I tell people music is not important to me.”
Debby revealed that she hopes to release some new music by the Fall. Nick added, “I don’t think it’s going to be what people really expect from her putting out music…It’s different.”
