Please excuse us while we let out a little shriek of joy!
We took a trip back to our childhood yesterday thanks to some pics from the set of “Girl Meets World,” the “Boy Meets World” spin-off that Disney Channel is filming. The cast includes Rowan Blanchard & Sabrina Carpenter as well as Ben Savage & Danielle Fishel reprising their beloved roles as Cory and Topanga. There has been no confirmation that past members of the show would be a part of it, but creator Michael Jacobs said they are always welcome to return.
Well, the show began filming its pilot yesterday and some familiar faces dropped by the set to say hi! Will Friedle, Rider Strong and Maitland Ward all came to cheer their pals on and posed for pics with the new cast. Rowan tweeted out “Rider Strong and Will Friedle visited us! OH MY GOSH.”
Sabrina Carpenter added, “Shawn and now Maya 🙂 What an honor to meet you Mr. @RiderStrong.”
We are loving the pics of Rowan and Sabrina with the cast and Maitland even posted one of her with Will and Rider. It’s a Shawn, Eric and Rachel reunion! Now where’s Jack?
Fingers crossed we will get to see these characters all return in future episodes.
