Sarah Hyland is taking a quick break from “Modern Family” and heading to Lifetime/History’s “Bonnie & Clyde”!
Hyland is set to play Clyde’s (Emile Hirsch) sister-in-law in the four-part miniseries according to THR. The story revolves around the infamous Depression-era bank-robbing pair with Emile Hirsch as the charismatic armed robber Clyde Barrow and Holliday Grainger as Bonnie Parker.
Hyland will play Blanche Barrow, the wife of Clyde’s brother Buck (Lane Garrison) and the famed outlaw’s partner in crime in the Barrow Gang.
William Hurt and Holly Hunter will also star in the project. This will be Hyland’s second Lifetime project, as she’s also signed on to star in Five 2, the sequel to the network’s hit breast cancer anthology.
