A few more names have been added to the cast of Divergent!
Miles Teller will be reuniting with his Spectacular Now co-star Shailene Woodley to take on the role of Peter. While the two play love interests in their previous flick, their relationship in Divergent is much different. Peter is described as “tall, good-looking, with dark, shiny hair that gleams even in relative darkness.” He is innocent and kind looking but ultimately is one of Tris’ enemies. He is shown to be cruel, antagonistic, ill-tempered, and easily jealous.
Miles took to twitter to confirm the news saying, “Excited to be a part of this incredible #Divergent cast & crew and reunite with my #spectacularnow flame @shailenewoodley #TeamPeter.”
Jai Courtney has also joined the cast of the highly anticipated movie as Eric, the Dauntless leader who is described as having many piercings and long, dark, greasy hair. He is also described as having cold eyes that made him all the more menacing, scabbed-over knuckles, and a wicked smile. He is 18 and also Four’s nemesis.
Deadline is also reporting that Summit is also close to closing deals with Kate Winslet, Aaron Eckhart, and Ray Stevenson.
