Samantha Barks got her start on the UK reality show “I’d Do Anything” and she’s about to pay tribute to one of the men who helped start her career.
ITV will be airing a 90-minute special on Andrew Lloyd Webber on Easter Sunday which will not only feature musical performances and interviews from his colleagues, but he is also set to debut new songs from his forthcoming musical about the Profumo affair.
“Andrew Lloyd Webber: 40 Musical Years” will have performances by Samantha as well as Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberley Walsh, Melanie C, Il Divo, and Myleene Klass performing tracks from much-loved shows such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats and Evita.
There will also be interviews with figures such as Simon Cowell, Sir Michael Caine and Sir Alex Ferguson.
