It looks like Skylar Astin is making the jump from the big screen to the small screen.
The 21 & Over and Pitch Perfect thesp will star in TBS’ Bill Lawrence comedy pilot “Ground Floor” according to THR. While the article says that Skylar is near closing the deal, we have a feeling he already has since he tweeted the link out saying “next gig!!”
“Ground Floor” centers on a 29-year-old successful alpha male who crosses paths with his company’s support staff – a tight-knit group of happy, carefree people – prompting him to realize that he’s not nearly as happy as he thought he was.
Skylar will play Brody Moyer, the charming manager who’s a master-of-the-universe in training who works for a top company who begins falling for building supervisor Jennifer (“Cougar Town’s” Briga Heelan).
