From a wizard to a princess, it looks like Emma Watson might have her next role!
Kenneth Branagh will be directing a new live adaptation of the classic Cinderella and according to Variety, Emma Watson is in early talks for the leading role.
While Emma as Cinderella is not officially happening yet, we do know that Cate Blanchett will be playing the wicked stepmother. Disney reportedly also looked at Gabriella Wilde (“The Three Musketeers”), Imogen Poots (“Need for Speed”) and Alicia Vikander (“Anna Karenina”) for the princess role, but none could commit due to scheduling and other considerations.
