Samantha Barks gives a big smile as she signs a brick for charity at a Pre-Oscar charity at Hotel Bel-Air on Saturday.
The brunch was hosted by Montblanc and UNICEF to celebrate the launch of their new “Signature For Good 2013” Initiative and featured special guest Hilary Swank. The previous night, Samantha attended the WME celebration in Beverly Hills.
Samantha is gearing up for the Oscars on Sunday where she will be joining the cast of Les Miserables for a performance during the musical tribute portion of the show. According to Entertainment Weekly, the cast of the hit movie including Sam, Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Aaron Tveit, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Helena Bonham Carter, will be joined by cast members from various versions of the show around the world including the U.S. tour, the most recent Broadway revival, the production in London’s West End, and the Hollywood Bowl concert.
They will all join together for what EW calls “a massive production number made up of a medley from the film” which also includes the Oscar-nominated original song “Suddenly.” The Oscars will mark the first time the major stars from the cast have performed as a group as in the film and productions they perform from various locations.
