selenagomez-unicef-012013It’s been a while since we’ve seen Selena Gomez perform so fans in NYC were in for a treat at Selena’s 3rd Annual UNICEF charity concert.

Selena, who is an ambassador for UNICEF, was joined by Nat & Alex Wolff, Noah Guthrie, and Bridgit Mendler for the concert at the Best Buy Theater.

During her set, Selena played fan favorites like “Who Says” and “Love You Like A Love Song,” but she also threw in a handful of covers. She joined with Nat & Alex for a fun rendition of the Lumineers’ “Ho Hey” and she also performed covers of Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River” and Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble.” Could these be aimed at her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber? Remember when Bieber used to perform “Cry Me A River” in concert back in the day? He even performed it a few months ago after one of Jelena’s breakups.

After the concert, Selena wrote, “Leaving NY, just wanted to let you all know how grateful I am for an amazing night last night. Such a successful event, I cannot say exactly how much we raised yet but, I think it is going to over $200,000 for UNICEF. Thank you to Lillian for keeping everyone on Facebook updated during the show. Thank you to Microsoft for helping make the night a huge success. Thanks to Bridgit, Noah, Nat & Alex for joining me on this special night. Thank you to UNICEF for bringing me on to such an amazing organization so early on in my career. Thank you to Caryl Stern for being a part of the night. Most of all Thank you to all who came out to the show and showed your love for kids all over the world.”
