Dane Dehaan stole the show in Chronicle and Lawless, and now he’ll be swinging into theaters in The Amazing Spider-Man sequel.
The 25-year-old has landed the coveted role of Harry Osborn in the franchise starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Director Marc Webb tweeted the news this morning saying, “Meet Harry Osborn @danedehaan” along with a picture.
Dane responded saying, “To say I’m excited is an understatement. #HarryOsborn #ASM2. All this love is makin’ me feel all tingly inside. Thanks ya’ll.”
Harry was originally played in Sam Raimi’s trilogy by James Franco and we are very excited to see Dane put his own spin on the character. Jamie Foxx and Shailene Woodley are also set to star.
