
Hunter Hayes gives a huge smile as he holds on to his first-ever CMA award on Thursday evening.
The 21-year-old took home the award for Best New Artist and he shared his excitement via twitter. He wrote, “Guys, I cannot believe this… I’m like speechless. Thank you thank you thank you! All the love going out to you all tonight!!!”
Hunter also took the stage for his first CMA performance where he performed his hit single “Wanted.” His tourmate, Carrie Underwood, even introduced his performance! Earlier this week, Hunter also won his first BMI award for “Wanted.”
