We knew it was only a matter of time before The Hunger Games got the spoof treatment!
Spoof masters Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, who made Date Movie, Meet the Spartans and Twilight spoof Vampires Suck, will be taking on the latest phenomenon, The Hunger Games, in a new movie titled The Starving Games. In addition to THG, the movie will poke fun at The Avengers, Sherlock Holmes and the finale of the Harry Potter franchise.
So, who will be taking on the lead roles? Maiara Walsh will be taking on the Jennifer Lawrence role as Kantmiss Evershot. We aren’t sure who will play her “Peeta,” but “Pretty Little Liars” star Brant Daugherty will be playing the spoof version of Gale in the flick.
