We bet you haven’t heard Taylor Swift’s hit “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” quite like this!
Last month on the set of “Jessie,” Debby Ryan revealed to us that she was doing a cover of the upbeat tune with her pal Nick Santino from A Rocket to the Moon, but it wouldn’t be that much like the original.
She told us, “It’s like an acoustic-y Civil Wars type cover of it. I’m like this song could be a rad ballad.”
Well, as promised, the stripped down version of Taylor’s song from Debby & Nick hit the web at midnight this morning and we are addicted to it. Debby writes, “Once upon a time…I was in middle school, listening to Nick Santino’s music on MySpace. I booked a Disney show, his band A Rocket To The Moon got signed to Fueled By Ramen, and we ended up randomly becoming best friends. Now we’re playing music together, messed around with the new Taylor song, and put it on the internet.
so yeah, boom, happily ever after.”
