Taylor Swift was one of the many big names to participate in the annual Stand Up 2 Cancer benefit at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Friday.

The annual event was broadcast on all major networks and featured appearances and performances from stars including Tim McGraw, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, Minka Kelly, Jessica Biel, Julia Roberts, and a myriad of others all in the name of raising money for cancer research.

Taylor took to the stage to debut a brand new song called “Ronan.” The 22-year-old wrote the song for a 4-year-old boy named Ronan who passed away last year from cancer. The song was written after Taylor read a blog from the young boy’s mother, Maya Thompson, who is listed as co-author.

Watch Taylor’s emotional performance below. You can get the song on iTunes now, with proceeds benefitting cancer research.
