Shoppers at Westfield’s Shepherd’s Bush in London were in for a treat on Thursday morning.

Liam Payne and Niall Horan from One Direction showed up to the mall where they played acoustically for unsuspecting customers and employees.

Cameras were spotted following the duo, which makes us believe that all the action is being filmed for something big. Maybe that rumored movie or a TV show? More webisodes?

The guys have been spotted at recording studios in London as well, where cameras have been present.

In other big 1D news, the band just hit 12 million worldwide sales in less than a year. Wow!

According to Sony Music, One Direction’s sales so far include 8 million singles, 3 million albums and 1 million DVDs.
