Get excited The Hunger Games fans!
An official release date has been made for Mockingjay, the final chapter in the series but that’s not all. Just like Harry Potter and Twilight, the final book will be split into two movies.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will hit theaters worldwide November 21, 2014, followed by The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 on November 20, 2015. So that means we’ll get a new chapter each year, as The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set for November 22, 2013.
What do you think about this split? We think there is definitely enough material in Mockingjay to make two great movies.
