EXCLUSIVE: One Direction Rocks the Gibson Amphitheatre

3

The lads of One Direction brought their sold out North American tour to the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk on Saturday for two shows.

We were lucky enough to catch the matinee show and it was our first time seeing 1D live. All we can say is wow, what a great show! Olly Murs kicked off the show with a high energy set and that energy lasted the entire night.

One Direction began the show singing “Na Na Na” and others including covers of “Stereo Hearts” and “Valerie.” 1D made sure to give a shoutout to fellow UK singer Ed Sheeran who wrote their ballad “Moments.”

Around the middle of the show, the guys took time to answer twitter questions, as they’ve been doing on the whole tour. This time around, the guys were asked to show off a bunch of various dance moves including the Macarena.

The set continued with songs like “Up All Night,” “One Thing,” and “What Makes You Beautiful.” The band closed out the show with an encore of “I Want” where they came out looking spiffy in dressy attire.

The guys put on a great show and the fans definitely loved it. We still can’t hear…

If you have the chance to catch One Direction on tour, we highly recommend it! Check out onedirectionmusic.com for all tour/ticket info.
