Nick Jonas: ‘How to Succeed’ to Close on Broadway May 20

Nick Jonas has spent this year starring in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Broadway, but his run and the show will come to a close on May 20.

Producers for the musical announced on Tuesday that the show’s final performance will take place May 20. When it closes, the revival will have played just over 500 performances since it opened at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in February 2011.

Nick is the third actor to play Finch in this latest revival, following Daniel Radcliffe and Darren Criss. Did you see the cute photo of all three at the MET Gala?

Nick was originally expect to be with the show until July 1, but now he will have more time to get back in the studio to work on the next Jonas Brothers album. Nick tweeted, “What an amazing experience it’s been with @H2SBway! Thx to all my Finch fans, producers and fellow cast. Thanks #Broadway. Excited about my next adventure – I know 2 guys who are happy I’ll be back in the studio to write again! @KevinJonas @JoeJonas #JB2012.”

Even though we’re sad about the news, you can relive Nick’s run in the musical thanks to the new How to Succeed EP! Be sure to get a copy here. The EP contains 5 songs from the musical and we’ve been listening to it on repeat all week!
