Kellan Lutz and Spencer Locke have landed an exciting new project.
The two have been cast in the lead roles of Tarzan and Jane in the new motion-capture Tarzan.
The movie will be a performance-capture 3D production which means we sadly won’t get to see the real Kellan Lutz in a loin cloth. In this updated version of the classic story, Tarzan’s parents, billionaire adventurers, are now killed in airplane crash rather than being marooned with their child. The movie’s villain is the CEO of Greystoke Energies, a man who took over the company from Tarzan’s deceased parents.
Also, Jane is the daughter of an African guide and is committed to the conservation and preservation of the African jungle. She eventually works with Tarzan to defeat the mercenary army of Greystoke Energies.
It will be interesting to see how the movie turns out. Motion capture has become popular ever since Andy Serkis portrayed Gollum in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and many other motion capture projects.
What do you think about Kellan and Spencer playing Tarzan and Jane?
