On-screen brothers Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth stop for a picture at the premiere of The Avengers on the closing night of the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday.
Tom and Chris, along with cast members Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Clark Gregg and Cobie Smulders helped honor everyday heroes from New York’s finest, first responsders from the NYPD and NYFD and America’s best, service men and women from the army, navy, air force, marines and coast guard at the premiere.
The Avengers opens in the US this Friday, May 4 and opened internationally over the weekend. It’s no surprise that the movie opened #1 in every foreign market. The movie made $185.1M box office in the film’s first 5 days of release in 39 territories.
