“Glee” stars Grant Gustin and Max Adler smile together at the 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards on April 21.
The duo took the stage at the awards show to help present the Rodemeyer family, who lost their son Jamie to suicide.
Max chatted with Popsugar on the carpet to share a touching story about how his character on “Glee” helped save a life. He shared, “I’m shooting in Kentucky and a lot of people came out to be our background extras in the stands, and one of the moms came up to me and said that her son was suicidal and when he saw that episode he was very shaken, and that was the first time they had a conversation in the household about everything . . .and pretty much told me that the episode saved her son’s life.”
