Zac Efron Discusses Preparing to Play a Marine + New ‘Lucky One’ TV Spots (Video)

We can’t express to you how excited we are to see Zac Efron bring Nicholas Sparks’ novel The Lucky One to life next month.

All month long, The Lucky One Facebook page has been posting fan questions answered by both Zac and Nicholas Sparks. In the newest video, Zac was asked what it was like preparing to play a Marine, and Zac admitted he was scared at first.

In the movie, U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Zac Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive—a photograph he found of a woman he doesn’t even know. Learning her name is Beth (Taylor Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.

Warner Bros. has also released some new TV spots for the movie, which definitely get us excited.
