There have been many comparisons between The Hunger Games and Twilight, and some fans are mad about them and others take them in stride.
Well, with Lionsgate buying Summit last month, it looks like Twilight fans will have a reason to go see the highly anticipated movie The Hunger Games. The trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 is set to premiere before THG according to the LA Times.
“‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2’ trailer will debut exclusively on every ‘Hunger Games’ print on its opening night for what will be Lions Gate’s largest release ever,” Santa Monica-based Lions Gate’s chief executive Jon Feltheimer said on a conference call with analysts Friday.
We definitely think this will help boost box office numbers for THG, not that it really will need any help.
If the flocks of fans that turned out this weekend to buy The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 on DVD are any indication, we have a feeling many twi-hards will be in theaters on March 23.
