Katy Perry has conquered the music world as well as the fashion world. So what’s next? Invading the virtual world!
Katy will team up with Electronic Arts to design special Perry-themed content and virtual goods, such as clothing, hairstyles and props, for The Sims franchise. Her creations will make their debut in March with the release of the Collector’s Edition for The Sims 3 Showtime.
Katy tells The Hollywood Reporter, “I love how you’re able to play out different stories through your Sims characters – giving them different careers and watching them succeed.
“It’s cool to see the Sims’ stage performances in The Sims 3 Showtime decked out just like my California Dreams Tour – even my cotton candy video screens are in there! I always like to think of myself as a cartoon, and now I’m a Sim!”
Katy will also be featured in the brand’s upcoming advertising campaign. It looks like we have another reason to be addicted to The Sims! What other star would you like to see featured in The Sims?
