Kelly Clarkson will be heading to one of the biggest sporting events of the year – the Super Bowl!
No official announcement from the NFl has been made, but sources tell AP that Clarkson will be singing the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLVI on February 5 in Indianapolis. The fact that Kelly retweeted the story also helps confirm the news.
Also set to perform are Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, singing “America the Beautiful.”
We can’t wait to see Kelly sing the National Anthem. She’s definitely proven at other sporting events that she can belt it. Fingers crossed she won’t flub it like Christina Aguilera did last year.
