Jeremy Irvine chats with Prince William at the premiere of War Horse at Odeon Leicester Square in London on Sunday evening.
The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge attended the premiere where they met with the stars of the movie including Irvine and director Steven Spielberg. The event benefitted the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. Six hundred serving and ex-serving military personnel and their families were invited to the premiere, alongside beneficiaries of military charities, which the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry helps to support.
Jeremy, 21, stars as Albert who has a remarkable friendship with his horse Joey. When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets—British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter—before the story reaches its emotional climax in the heart of No Man’s Land.
War Horse is one of our favorite movies of the year and is in theaters now. If you haven’t seen it yet, we highly recommend it. Jeremy also stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman last week. Watch the interview below.
