And the family wizard has been decided!
Tonight, “Wizards of Waverly Place” came to a close as Alex, Justin and Max Russo competed to find out who would become the family wizard. If you haven’t watched the finale and you don’t want to know who won, read no further.
SPOILERS: After 3 intense rounds of competition, Justin (David Henrie) emerged victorious through the tunnel of mist. Just as he was about to be crowned the victor, he halted the ceremony with an interesting confession.
It turns out Alex (Selena Gomez) was just about to win the competition when Justin got his foot stuck in a tree root. Instead of finishing, Alex turned around to help free Justin, thus allowing Justin to win.
So the end result – Alex was crowned the family wizard but she won’t be the only wizard in the family. Professor Crumbs announced his retirement and that Justin would succeed him as Headmaster of WizTech, thereby making Justin a full wizard as well. So that means, poor Max is the only one left without powers, but he did get something out of it. He gets to inherit the sub shop.
