2011 is coming to a close and I’ve decided to do something I’ve never done before – make my list of the 15 best movies of the year. If you know me, I love movies, so this was a hard list to come up with, especially ordering them. I do not consider myself, by any means, a professional movie critic. I’m just a fan of movies.
This year’s list of movies is made up of movies that of course make you laugh, ones that make you cry, ones that make you really sit and think, and ones that include Ryan Gosling. (You can’t deny it was a great year for him.)
So alas, here is my list of the 15 best movies of 2011. There are still a lot of movies I haven’t seen this year including critic favorite The Artist. This list is comprised of everything I’ve seen so far this year. Also, some of these movies we would probably not cover on SO-M, but I wanted a list that covered every type of movie.
