One of the most unlikely hookups of the year was when Mark Wahlberg announced plans to do a movie with Justin Bieber. So why did Mark cast the Biebs?
He tells MTV News, “Intuition. I’m pretty intuitive. I see the guy and spent time with him, and you see what he does and how he does it, and then you actually have a conversation with him, and it’s there.”
Of course, Justin doesn’t have much acting experience. Sure he’s had a successful concert movie, but that was as himself. And he’s acted on “CSI,” but what happens if Justin has a little trouble channeling his inner acting superstar?
“It’s there — and if not, I will extract it,” joked Mark.
The movie has been described as a Basketball Diaries meets The Color of Money type drama. It will be interesting to see Justin show off his dramatic acting side.
